Spirit Lake, Iowa – It didn’t take long for someone to snag one of the 10 specially tagged walleyes in this year’s Walleye Weekend, good for $43,000.
Dawn Ingvaldson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, caught the fish on Big Spirit Lake around 2:00 a.m. this past Saturday, May 3rd, only two hours into the contest. The tag was confirmed at Stan’s Bait and Tackle.
