The Week’s Weather Ahead

Northwest Iowa — We’re afraid that things will have to get a little worse before they get better.

The worse – a light wintry mix today, mainly east of I-29. Also, there will be some areas of fog slow to evacuate through the day. Then comes the colder weather, which will feature some wind chills Wednesday into early Thursday from 10 below to 25 below zero at times, perhaps with some light snowfall again Tuesday night into early Wednesday. If you can wait, temps will return above normal by the end of the week with a return of sunshine!
