Third Civic Music Association Concert Is Tuesday

Sheldon, Iowa — The third concert of the Sheldon Civic Music Association season will be presented this coming Tuesday (February 13th) in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.

Pianist, composer and visual artist Scott Kirby will bring his Main Street Souvenirs performance to the Civic Music Association stage.

Main Street Souvenirs is a multi-media stage performance featuring live piano music, a spoken narrative, and a video presentation. This visual “projected” dimension of the program will accompany both the narrative and the music throughout, and will consist of Kirby’s original artwork, his video footage, his photography, and archival photos. The narrative, also written by Kirby, reflects a thematic progression, weaving different concepts about small-town American life.

Main Street Souvenirs, presented by Scott Kirby is the third of four concerts in the Sheldon Civic Music Assocation concert series, and will begin at 7:30 Tuesday evening in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.
