Thunder Sports Shooting Team Takes 4th In State Championships

Sheldon, Iowa — The NCC Thunder Sports Shooting Team made a strong showing in their first trip to the Iowa Scholastic Clay Target Collegiate Championships held Saturday at the Stockdale Gun Club in Ackley, Iowa. In their first state team competition NCC took home 4th place team honors with a team score of 427.

State competitors finished in this order:
1st – Iowa Central Community College – 454
2nd – Hawkeye Community College RedTails – 450
3rd – Southeastern Blackhawks Sport Shooting – 442
4th – NCC Thunder Sport Shooting – 427
5th – Iowa Western Shotgun Sports – 420

Evan Ingalls – 14th in Male division out of 82
Austin Chase – 19th in Male division out of 82
Michael Glasscock – 40th in Male division out of 82
