Ireton, Iowa — Supporters of President Donald Trump have been holding boat parades and “Trump Trains” across the country this summer and fall to demonstrate their support for Trump’s re-election in this coming Tuesday’s general election. The latest “Trump Train” will be taking place tomorrow (Saturday, October 31st) in Sioux County.
The “Trump Train” parade will take place in the Sioux County town of Ireton, and will begin at noon Saturday. But organizers urge anyone who wants to take part to show up starting at 10:30 Saturday morning.
Organizers are encouraging “Trump Train” participants to decorate their cars, tractors, pickups, whatever with Trump flags as they drive through the town of Ireton. They’ll even be handing out prizes for the Best Decorated Semi, Motorcycle, Pickup, Car and Tractor.
According to organizers the route is short, so the “Trump Train” will go around it twice. You’re urged to meet at the Southern Sioux Rural Water Supply area at 10:30 am Saturday to prepare for the event.
The route for the Sioux County Trump Train will head north from the RWS area at noon. Drive NORTH on Main Street to 1st St., east on 1st Street to OAK, then south on OAK to 6th St., west on 6th St. to MAIN and then SOUTH on Main to RWS area.
Organizers of the event are encouraging Ireton residents to line the streets and wave as the “Trump Train” parade passes by.
Organizers say the event will be tweeted at the President and they are hoping to get a nod back from him.
