Two No-School Days Will Compensate For Sheldon Schools’ Shorter Winter Break

If you’re looking at your Sheldon school calendar and you’re thinking, “Didn’t Christmas vacation used to be longer?” In some years, you’d be right.

Sheldon Superintendent Cory Myer says it’s just kind of how it works sometimes.

Myer tells us there will be more days off this school year to compensate for the shorter winter break.

Myer says they’ve really had an easy winter as far as school closings and late starts.

Winter break starts for Sheldon students at the end of the school day on Friday, and school resumes on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
