Arnolds Park, Iowa – This year’s Kite Festival for the Okoboji Winter Games is drawing in flyers from around the world. Among them is Nicholas who is from an area near Paris, France.
Rolf, who’s from Germany, not only flies the giant kites, but also makes them.
Craig came to the Iowa Great Lakes this weekend all the way from New Zealand where kite flying is a popular pastime, especially now as it’s summer there.
Blake Pelton, who’s from Utah, along with Steve Boote of Sioux Falls, originally launched the kite festival back in 2019.
Look for the kites again this weekend off of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park on Smith’s Bay. You can find more information by clicking here.
