United Fund Shatters 2022 Goal

Sheldon, Iowa — The 2022 Sheldon United Fund Drive has wrapped up. And the goal has been shattered by a huge margin.

The goal was $30,000. United Fund officials tell us that the final amount donated was $48,688. That’s over 62 percent or $18,688 more than the goal.

Since the last update, donors gave $22,122.

The United Fund will be assisting 23 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year.

United Fund spokesperson Cindy Runger says, “Board members thank all businesses and individuals of Sheldon and the surrounding communities for your wonderful support. We could not achieve this dollar amount without all of you.”
