Unity Christian Addition Taking Shape

Orange City, Iowa — When the Unity Christian Society voted on it in late November 2019, the idea passed by an overwhelming 97 percent. And construction is now underway on the $8 million project.

Wayne Dykstra, principal at Unity Christian gives us a progress update.


He reminds us what’s being built.


He says they are hoping the project will be completed next year at this time. Dykstra says the project will have quite an impact.


Dykstra says costs remain the same, or maybe even a little lower. He says they have about 75% of the money received or pledged at this point. He says they’re praying for safety for all the workers and are grateful for everything that’s happened so far.
