Sheldon, Iowa — The community is invited to come together for a meal, a walk, and some fun to promote the idea of organ and tissue donation.
The event will happen at Northwest Iowa Community College’s Lifelong Learning & Recreation Center on Tuesday, June 20th. NCC’s Emergency Services Education Coordinator, Kevin Miller tells us about it.
He says the event is to encourage all types of donation.
He tells us what to expect at the event on the 20th.
Miller says it’s a freewill event, with proceeds going to the Iowa Donor Network. Everyone is invited.
