Primghar/Sanborn, Iowa — It’s almost time for some O’Brien County students to have some fun and receive their school supplies for the upcoming school year from Upper Des Moines Opportunity.
According to Brenda Collier with Upper Des Moines, the event, called the “Back To School Bash” will be this Saturday in Sanborn.
She tells us what’s in the backpacks.
She tells us how the program got started.
She says if the families could get the applications for backpacks in by Thursday, staff can get their backpacks to them at the event on Saturday. Again, it will be this Saturday, July 31st, from 12:00 to 4:00 at Miller Park in Sanborn.
