Wayward Moose Makes Another Appearance

Wallingford, Iowa — That wayward moose continues to wander it’s way through northwest Iowa.

The animal was spotted Thursday evening crossing a road in Emmet county between Estherville and Wallingford. What’s believed to be the same moose had been seen earlier in both Sioux and Clay counties.

Iowa DNR officials say that if you see the moose you should keep your distance and let it be, as they can become aggressive if agitated.
