Sheldon, Iowa — Just a reminder from the Sheldon Chamber — if you bought Summer Stash of Cash — the time is winding down for you to use it.
SCDC Chamber director Shantel Oostra tells us that the deadline for spending your stash is this coming Wednesday, August 25th, so this is the final weekend before the deadline.
The stashes of cash were sold at a 30 percent discount for each $500 stash, or $350. The stashes were also broken down into different categories: 30 percent to be used at restaurants, 30 percent to be used at retail establishments, 10 percent at the theater, 10 percent at grocery/gas/convenience stores, and 20 percent wildcard.
