An upper level low will bring chances for rain today across the area, especially in northwest Iowa, the southern sections of southwest Minnesota, southeast South Dakota and northeast Nebraska.
It will be wet early Thursday in northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska, especially in the Sioux City and Storm Lake vicinities. After this band of rain moves out by mid morning, chances for rain will linger mainly for the areas just described. Highs today will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Overall, winds will be light, but some gusts of 20 to 40 mph could occur in the locations of thunderstorms. Friday will be dry.
