A cold front is expected to move across the region tonight into Thursday. As the cold air moves into the region, rain is expected to transition to freezing rain before potentially transitioning to snow Friday morning. A winter weather advisory is in effect Thursday into Friday morning for southeastern South Dakota into southwest Minnesota.
Rain developing tonight and Thursday will transition to freezing rain and eventually snowfall heading through Thursday night into Friday before ending. Windy and colder weather will settle in for the end of the week, but we will fight back to well above normal temperatures by early next week!
