Hospers, Iowa — A woman living in Worthington and working in Hospers has been arrested on identity theft charges.
Sioux County arrest logs indicate that 26-year-old Maria Olga Lopez Ramos of Worthington was arrested on Monday, October 31st at Premium Iowa Pork in Hospers.
Sioux County Chief Deputy Nate Huizenga says Lopez Ramos had been working at Premium Iowa Pork and was earning money under the name of a Florida victim, who was made aware that her name was being used in Iowa.
Arrest records say Lopez Ramos was charged with Identity Theft and Forgery and was transported to the Sioux County Jail where she was held without bond.
