Sinkie Day, or Dine Over Your Kitchen Sink Day, is an informal holiday celebrated the day after Thanksgiving to encourage people to eat leftovers directly over the kitchen sink.
The purpose is to avoid dishes and save time by shamelessly enjoying messy food in a casual, no-fuss way, typically in pajamas.
The “International Association of People Who Dine Over the Kitchen Sink” created this holiday in 1991.
