Continued drought means no relief for Mississippi River

IARN — We’ll have to hold out a little while longer before the Mississippi River receives any relieving rain, as drought conditions have worsened across the board for the state of Iowa. In fact, the entire state is now experiencing some form of drought. Iowa State Climatologist Dr. Justin Glisan explained the data from this week’s U.S. Drought Monitor.
