Producing food in a turbulent world

IARN — Thursday was day number three of the World Food Prize – Norman Borlaug International Dialogue at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. The dialogue is a series of speeches, presentations, and roundtable discussions from policymakers, scientists, farmers, and students focused on the future of agriculture and food security.

This year’s theme of the Borlaug International Dialogue is Feeding a Fragile World. After facing a global pandemic, numerous extreme weather events, and war in Ukraine the world’s producers have been asked to continue to provide food for the world’s population under a lot of duress.
