Get your planters ready for the off-season

IARN — Normally we think of getting an implement ready to do work, and that is always a good idea. But just like combines, planters only have a short window of usage time in the growing season. Then it is time to put them back into storage for another year. A year filled with the rigors of sitting around and collecting dust.

While it is important to get your planter field-ready before the season starts, it is equally important to do post-season maintenance. Grayson Catania is an After-Market Solutions Crop Production Product Marketing Manager for CASE-IH. He talks about some of the maintenance that you should do on your planters, no matter the brand, before you park them.
