IARN — On Friday, June 11, members of Agriculture’s Clean Water Alliance (ACWA) will officially announce the statewide expansion of taking their impactful projects, strategically placed conservation agronomists, and the vision for water quality and healthier soil across the state of Iowa during ACWA’s board meeting.
The board is made of leading agriculture retailers and aligned companies and organizations who sell product and services to farmers.
“Iowa farmers rely directly on ag retail for products, services and technical advice to be successful raising crops and livestock,” ACWA Executive Director Roger Wolf said. “The ACWA expansion across Iowa furthers agriculture’s commitment by providing leadership and support to Iowa and its farmers as they work to adopt solutions to our soil and water quality challenges.”
Secretary Naig will present to ACWA’s Board Members, and members will hear from ACWA’s Conservation Agronomists around the state.
ACWA’s mission is to identify and advance solutions that reduce nutrient loss, build healthier soils, and improve Iowa’s waters. With ACWA’s 22 years of putting this mission to practice within the Racoon and Des Moines River basins, they are now taking their leadership, expertise, and programming statewide.
