Livestock economist foresees a decrease in beef production for remainder of 2022

IARN — A lot of aspects don’t seem to be going in the favor of agriculturalists on the producing side of things so far this year. One area that producers have had difficulties this year is in the beef cattle industry, but what does that look like for producers during the remainder of 2022?

Oklahoma State University Extension Livestock Market Economist, Derrell Peel halfway through the year, says the first half of this year was challenging for our beef cattle producers.
