IARN — October is pork month in Iowa and across the United States, and there’s no better time for us to be talking about the policies that affect pork producers across the country than when the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) recently hosted their legislative action conference in Washington, D.C. It was a chance for producers from across the country to meet with lawmakers and discuss issues critical to the pork industry.
