Republican leaders introduce new Act for the Ag community

IARN — Last week, the Reducing Farm Input Costs and Carriers to Production Act was introduced by Republican leaders from the Agriculture and Budget Committees. Chair of the Western Caucus, Dan Newhouse, says the legislation will protect and promote American agriculture. One way they will do this is by reversing the Biden Administration’s regulatory barriers to domestic production while continuing to provide immediate relief to farmers and families across the country.

Newhouse says while he and his fellow lawmakers have that deep appreciation for all farmers that most people do, that feeling is not universal in D.C.
