Cherokee, Iowa — An area cooperative with locations in our area has announced a new facility in Marcus.
AgState officials tell us their new Cardtrol fuel facility in Marcus is open. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, December 11, with the mayor, the Chamber of Commerce, the local Economic Development Board, and AgState representatives in attendance.
The Cardtrol facility is now operational, offering 24/7 access to what AgState is calling “high-quality fuel through a secure and user-friendly system.” The facility is designed to meet the needs of local farmers, fleet operators, and residents, ensuring a modern and reliable fueling experience, say officials. AgState officials say the new Marcus cardtrol features 24/7 access, updated high-speed pumps, advanced blender pumps offering flex fuels and E85, ease of access, and flexible payment options.
While the facility is already open for use, AgState plans to host a formal grand opening celebration later this spring.
In the meantime, the AgState Energy Sales Team will be on-site for the next 10 business days to assist customers with fueling and answer any questions about the new system.
The new Cardtrol is located at 200 N. Hwy 143, on the north side of Marcus and is open for use. Customers are encouraged to stop by, fuel up, and meet with the AgState Energy Team for assistance and support.
