Statewide Iowa — It’s the new year — and if you’re looking for a new career to go with it, the Iowa State Patrol would like you to consider becoming a trooper or someone who helps the troopers.

Krull says maybe that’s not you, but perhaps you know of someone looking for a career change such as this. He says it’s easy to get started.
Trooper Krull tells us the easiest way to get started is to visit dpscareers.com. He says there are lots of resources there, including videos to show people what a career with the Iowa Department of Public Safety is like. Of course you can find out more about being a trooper, but there are several other opportunities as well.
