Hawarden, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) – Hawarden Regional Healthcare’s Senior Life Solutions program has been named a 2025 Program Finalist of the Year by Psychiatric Medical Care, the national organization that manages the service.
The recognition places the Hawarden-based program among the top Senior Life Solutions programs nationwide and highlights its work supporting older adults experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and grief.
Senior Life Solutions Program Director Natosha Schurch says the honor reflects the commitment of those providing care.
“This award reflects the dedication, passion, and heart of our entire team,” Schurch says. “We are honored and grateful to serve our patients every day.”
Senior Life Solutions is designed specifically to meet the mental health needs of older adults, offering structured support and treatment for conditions commonly associated with aging and life transitions.
Hospital officials say the program plays an important role in improving the quality of life for seniors and providing resources for families across the region.
