Statewide Iowa (RI) — Iowa GOP chairman Jeff Kaufmann says President Trump’s visit to Iowa is the first of several appearances in the state before the November election.
A crowd of about 700 gathered at an indoor facility in Clive to hear Trump discuss the nation’s economy.
Iowa has an open U.S. Senate race this year and Trump has already endorsed Congresswoman Ashley Hinson.
Trump has also endorsed Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, two Iowa GOP incumbents who are seeking re-election to the U.S. House.
