As of 10:40 am today (Wednesday, September 2nd), KIWA-FM has been fully restored!!
KIWA-AM and FM 100.7 are mostly restored, but there is still some work being done.

Most of our programming has been restored, KIWA-FM 105.3 is mostly back, for now. There will be some work done later today to fully restore it to normal operation.
AM-1550 & it’s translator FM100.7 are back up and working for most programming, at this time.

The KIWA stations incurred some equipment damage due to Tuesday night’s severe storms. At this point, KIWA-FM 105.3 is only able to play music from our backup system. KIWA-AM 1550, and it’s Translator at 100.7-FM are even more limited in their operation at the moment. Our engineers are working to diagnose and repair the issues, and I’m confident that operations will be fully restored soon. We’ll let you know here when things are back to normal.
