Larchwood, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people of interest in regard to an incident in Larchwood.
Sheriff’s officials tell us the two females were seen in a black, mid-2000s GMC Sierra in the Larchwood area between approximately 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, and midnight on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026.
The sheriff’s office posted some pictures of the suspects and a map of the affected area in Larchwood on social media, saying that if you live or work in the area shown on the map, you should check your vehicles and property for any missing items or anything that may have been disturbed. They are also asking that if you have security cameras, you review your footage from this time period to see if you captured anything that may assist in the investigation.
Lyon County deputies say that if you recognize either of the individuals in the pictures or have information or video that may assist with the investigation, please contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-472-8300.
They also remind people to make sure their vehicles, homes, garages, and other property are secured, especially overnight.
