Rock Rapids, Iowa – The driver of a motorcycle was injured Friday when his bike struck a car in Rock Rapids.
According to Lyon County authorities, a 2014 Ford Focus, driven by 31-year-old Joanna Hash, of Rock Rapids, was eastbound on Highway 9 in eastern Rock Rapids, when her car was struck by a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle being driven by a male juvenile.
Deputies say the juvenile, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Rock Rapids Fire Department and Lyon County Ambulance.
