Sheldon, Iowa — A new coffee shop has opened in Sheldon and they celebrated with an open house and ribbon cutting on Friday.
SCDC Director Tania Herrera Gonzales spoke on behalf of the SCDC at the new business, called “My Tasty Coffee Shop.”
KIWA’s own Skip Tanner spoke on behalf of the Sheldon ambassadors.
The business is in the former Downtown Grounds location, downtown on 3rd Avenue.
Samantha Morales and her mom, Elsa Vazquez tell us about what they’re going to have.
They’re open from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday and 8 to 2 on Saturdays.
Morales says they’ve got something else planned as well.
Morales tells us they hope to start with the food truck after an inspection in April.
