Sibley, Iowa– An Ocheyedan woman was taken to the hospital after an accident in Sibley on Friday, March 6, 2026.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 9:25 p.m., 32-year-old Mariah Hatch of Ocheyedan was driving a 1999 Ford pickup eastbound on A22 (170th Street), on the overpass above Highway 60.
The report says that due to icy conditions, she lost control. The pickup spun around and struck the bridge before coming to a stop.
The Osceola County Ambulance Squad took Hatch to Osceola Regional Health Center Hospital.
Hatch’s Ford pickup sustained $5000 in damages.
