Orange City, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — An Orange City man has been arrested on multiple felony charges following a joint child abuse investigation.
According to the Orange City Police Department, officers arrested 21-year-old Brendon Scott Harrison of Orange City at about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday on active Sioux County warrants.
Police say the warrants were issued as part of a joint investigation involving the Orange City Police Department and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services in connection with allegations of child abuse.
Harrison is accused of multiple acts of child endangerment, a class B felony, and three counts of willful injury causing serious injury, class C felonies. If convicted of a class B felony, he could face up to 25 years in prison, and up to 10 years in prison for each class C felony.
He faces a preliminary hearing on March 10th.
Authorities say Harrison was transported to the Sioux County Jail, where he was booked on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.
