Orange City Woman Taken To Hospital After Rolling Vehicle

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City woman was taken to the hospital after an accident near that city on Monday, October 28.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 1:00 p.m., 23-year-old Svanna Borchers of Orange City was driving a 2010 Honda Civic westbound on 410th Street, three miles northwest of Orange City, when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered the north ditch and rolled.

The Orange City Ambulance took her to Orange City Area Health.

The Honda sustained approximately $6,000 in damage.

Borchers was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

The sheriff’s office says the Orange City Ambulance Squad and Orange City Police Department assisted with the response to the accident.
