Sheldon, Iowa — Planning continues for a new addition and renovation at the Sheldon Community School District’s High School in Sheldon.
A 19-million-dollar bond issue was passed in November. It needed at least 60 percent “yes” votes to pass, and received 72.66 percent “yes” votes.
The total project cost is $32.9 million. Sheldon Community Schools Superintendent Cory Myer gives us an update.
Myer says the school will have a different look than it currently does, but there will be a number of things that won’t change too.
Myer made his comments on the Morning Conversation on KIWA-FM on Thursday morning after the Sheldon School Board Meeting on Wednesday night.
