Sheldon, Iowa — The regular Sheldon City Council meetings are typically held the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Community Services Center, downtown. Since this January 1st is a Wednesday, but is also a holiday, City Manager Sam Kooiker says there will not be a meeting, and it will not be rescheduled.
He tells us claims and bills will be approved administratively so they can be paid. They will be formally voted on at the next regularly scheduled meeting, which is January 15th at 4:30 p.m.
Kooiker also reminds us that the budget meetings will be held at 4:30 p.m. on January 21st and 22nd.
