Sheldon, Iowa — SP Heating and Cooling personnel tell us they are pleased to announce that they will soon be operating under CW Suter Services, a leading Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Plumbing company, based in Sioux City. The company will change hands on March 1st.
Aaron Alons of SP Heating & Cooling says that Suter has been in business since 1926 and is celebrating 100 years in business. They have been under the same ownership since 1978, until recently becoming a 100% employee-owned company.
Alons says every team member is more than just an employee at Suter; they are all co-owners invested in each other’s success. He says their unique structure fosters transparency, collaboration, and long-term commitment.
Suter is a second-generation family business that has grown to over 250 employees.
Alons says he began SP Heating and Cooling in 2004 in Sanborn. In 2012, SP Heating expanded by acquiring Rogers Plumbing and Heating in Sheldon, after which it relocated the SP office to Sheldon.
After 22 years, Alons tells us he is taking a different role and shifting his focus to Sanborn Propane & Oil Service.
On a day-to-day basis, Alons says nothing is changing within the company. The main force will still be what he calls, “the great team you’ve come to know and rely on for all your HVAC and plumbing services.”
Alons says they are excited for the growth opportunities and resources that CW Suter Services can provide to the Sheldon community. They will continue to provide the best level of customer service with every business transaction, whether that is for HVAC or Plumbing. He says they look forward to serving you for years to come.
