Sutherland, Iowa — A Sutherland woman has been arrested on a felony meth charge.
According to a criminal complaint filed with the O’Brien County Clerk of Court’s Office by the Sutherland Police Department, 49-year-old Michele Pattison of Sutherland is accused of the possession of methamphetamine. She was arrested on Friday.
In his statement, the officer says Pattison was found to be in possession of meth while having had three prior convictions for meth possession, making this offense a felony.
Pattison was charged with possession of methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. If convicted, Pattison could face up to five years in prison.
Pattison has waived her preliminary hearing and no further court dates have yet been set.
She was booked into the O’Brien County Jail in Primghar, and was released on Monday after posting bond.
