Anna May Hector, age 96 of Ellsworth, MN died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Sunrise At Johns Creek Assisted Living in Johns Creek, GA.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 3rd at Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, MN, with the Reverend Dr. Terry Morse officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Ellsworth, MN.

Anna May Hector was born July 24, 1918 at the family farm near Little Rock, Iowa, the daughter of William B. and Ida (Moet) Mulder. She attended country school and help with the day to day operation of the family farm.
Anna May was united in marriage to Ben Hector on October 2, 1941 at Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, MN. Together they lived and farmed their entire married life in the Ellsworth area.
On October 17, 2002 Anna May’s husband of 61 years died after a lengthy illness. Anna May remained living at their farm until May of 2014, when she moved to Johns Creek, GA. She remained living there until her death on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
She leaves behind two children, daughter, Donna (husband, Gene) Reisdorfer of Cumming,, GA and son, Larry (wife, Smmie) Hector of Decatur, AL; as well as four loving grandchildren, Daniel (wife, Diane) Reisdorfer of Decatur, AL, Victoria (husband, Mark) Schaller of Cumming, GA, Deborah (husband, Eric) Cottingham of Decatur, AL and Laura (husband, John) Meisinger of Atlanta, GA; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Marion Hector of Ellsworth, MN and other family, and friends.
Anna May joins her husband, Ben, her brother, sister, and many family and friends in heaven.
