Arlouine Anne Breuker passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley, IA.
A private family celebration of life will be held with burial at a later date.
Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Worthington, MN on November 9, 1930 to Judith Johnson James and Arthur James. She was the oldest of two daughters.
She grew up in Worthington, MN and graduated from Worthington High School in 1948. She attended college at Mankato State and graduated in 1950 with an Elementary Education teaching degree. Arlouine married her husband, Frank Breuker on August 24, 1952. She taught in Rushmore and Reading schools for 20 years. She worked from 1970-1980 at the Atrium High Rise in Worthington. Arlouine and Frank lived in Worthington the majority of their married years, and moved to Sibley, IA in 1988 after retirement. Arlouine was a member of the Living Waters Covenant Church.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; her sister, Janice Arrott; her daughters, Sandy (Todd) Wilson and Mary (Mike) Earll; grandchildren, David (Ashley) Earll, Sara (Russell) Slack, Amy (Philip) Gingerich, and Josh (Hannah) Earll. She leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Calvin, Miles, and Olivia.
Arlouine was preceded in death by her father, Arthur James, and her mother, Judith James.
