Connie C. Wise, age 80 of Primghar, Iowa passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Primghar Care Center in Primghar.
Her services will be 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Primghar. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Primghar. Visitation will be after 4 P.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 with the family present from 5:30 – 7 P.M. with a scripture wake service at 5:30 P.M. Wednesday all at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar.

Constance “Connie” Carolyn Wise, the daughter of George and Eulalia (Schmidt) Albers was born March 25, 1934 in Klemme, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from Ventura High School in 1952. She furthered her education at the University of Northern Iowa receiving her teaching degree. She taught school in Alexander and Hampton, Iowa schools. On August 7, 1961, she was united in marriage to Larry Wise in Hampton, Iowa. The couple lived in Paullina, Iowa for several years before moving to Primghar in 1978. Connie sold real estate for Mitch Vander Tuig, was the event coordinator at the Primghar Care Center, ran the bakery and coffee shop for a short time and owned and operated The Little Store in Primghar. The couple in their retirement years remained in Primghar where they always enjoyed their coffee times together with many friends. Connie passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Primghar Care Center in Primghar, reaching the age of 80 years, 5 months and 6 days.
She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Primghar and the Guild of the church. She enjoyed the Primghar Library, her coffee times and crossword puzzles.
Connie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Larry of Primghar; three sons, Scott (Carla) Wise of Paullina; Brad (Sue) Wise of Wichita, Kansas; and Brian Wise of Oyens, Iowa; a daughter, Joan (Kevin) Roos of Primghar; eight grandchildren, Katie (Drew) Triplett, Korey, Austin and Alex Wise, Kelsey, Jacob and Jared Roos and Blaine Wise; two great grandchildren, Addison and Braxton Triplett; one brother, George Alan Albers of Sarasota, Florida; also other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eulalia.
