Elmer Van Kekerix, age 97, of Sanborn, formerly of Sheldon, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Prairie View Home in Sanborn.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon with Pastor David Loveall officiating.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Matlock with military honors presented by the McGlothlen-Cowie American Legion Post 145 of Sheldon.
Visitation with family present will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.
