Glenn Burley, age 79, died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City.
Immediate family will gather at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City prior to the burial in the Lake City Cemetery.

Glenn Allen Burley was born on July 8, 1939 in Lake City, Iowa to Glenn Earl and Dorothy (LaDine) Burley. After graduating from Lake City High School, Glenn served in the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1961. On March 23, 1963, Glenn married Nancy Donovan in Lake City. He worked as a power line foreman for MidAmerican Energy for 40 years before retiring in 2001.
Glenn is survived by his wife Nancy of Sheldon, son Patrick Burley of Milaca, MN, daughters Belinda (Paul) Sanders of Council Bluffs, IA and Barbara (Gary) Nissen of Omaha, NE, 5 grandchildren, and sister Judy (Paul) Hill of Ogden, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David and sister Sally.
