Mr. Harold “Smitty” Smit, age 91, of Orange City, passed away on February 15, 2023, at the Orange City Area Health System.
A visitation with the family present will be held on Monday, February 20, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. A prayer service will take place on Tuesday, February 21, at 9:15am, at the funeral home, followed by interment at the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, at 11:00am, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City with the Rev. Jordan Helming officiating.
Memorials will be given to Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
