Jacob “Jake” Westra, age 87, of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Prairie View Retirement Home in Sanborn, Iowa. His services will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:30 am from the First Reformed Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Rev. Paul Van Maaren officiating.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa, with Military Graveside services by the Sheldon American Legion McGlothlen-Cowie Post #145 of Sheldon, IA
Visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2015 after 2:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 -7:00 pm at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.
