Joan Van Rooyen, age 83 of Sheldon, IA, passed away at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, IA on Sunday, May 5, 2013.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the First Reformed Church in Sanborn, IA. Rev. Gary Hegstad will be officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8th at the Sanborn Funeral Home Chapel in Sanborn from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Burial will be held at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City, IA.
The Sanborn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for 83 year-old Joan Van Rooyen of Sheldon.
