Kelly Sue Delaney

Kelly Sue Delaney, age 61,  from St, Paul, MN, passed away on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019.

Kelly was born December 2nd, 1957 in Sheldon, Iowa, to Mary and Gerald Delaney. In 1973, Lyndon Greimann adopted Kelly and her two siblings. She graduated high school from Sheldon High in 1976. She moved all over the country, living in Minnesota, Tennessee, and Florida over the years. Along the way, she made great friends whose relationships she cherished dearly. Kelly never met a stranger that she could not call a friend.

Kelly loved to visit friends and family at Lake Okoboji during the summer months and spend time with her family in Arizona during the holidays and special occasions. She and her mother often spent many afternoons reminiscing about their road trips to Florida. Kelly was a movie buff and loved watching old time favorites on repeat. She could simply never get enough of Friends, no matter how many times she re-watched the series. You could always find Kelly in green rooting for the Packers on Sundays or celebrating her Irish heritage at her favorite local spot. Cheering loud and proud, no one could ever convince Kelly of a greater legend than THE Brett Farve. She was known for her outgoing, chatty personality and infectious smile. Kelly will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Kelly was preceded in death by her biological father, Gerald, and her sister, Nancy. She is survived by her mother, Mary, her father, Lynn, and her older brother, Kim, from the Phoenix, Arizona area.

A celebration of life was held for Kelly on June 29 in St Paul, MN,  where she resided. Graveside services and interment were on June 29th at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
