Marvin Habbinga age 101, of Sheldon, Iowa, formerly of George, Iowa died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Sheldon.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in George, with Reverend Matt Polsdorfer officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery of George, with military honors by the Jack Sauter American Legion Post No. 404 of George, IA.
Family and friends may gather at the church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning June 15th.
In lieu of flowers family asks that memorial be directed to the George Public Library, 119 S. Main Street, George, Iowa 51237. The Jurrens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Marvin Habbinga.
