Michal “Mike” Jean Pinegar-Montague Bilsland, age 86, of Sheldon, Iowa and formerly of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Her services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Fr. Siby Punnoose officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:oo A.M. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa.

Michal “Mike” Jean Pinegar-Montague Bilsland, the daughter of Dr. Kenneth and Norah (Kane) Pinegar was born March 30, 1935, in Marinette, Wisconsin. She grew up in Marinette and graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Marinette. She went on to further her education at St. Theresa College in Winona, MN; St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI; and School of Medical Technology in St. Paul, MN with an Associate Degree in Laboratory Technology. Michal worked as a Laboratory Tech in Madison, WI; Conejo Valley Hospital in Thousand Oaks, CA; North Hollywood Hospital, North Hollywood, CA St. Vincent Hospital for 15 years and Previa Clinic for 19 years in Green Bay, WI. Michael was united in marriage to Kelvin F. Montague on September 8, 1962, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in North Hollywood, CA. Kelvin preceded her in death on December 8, 1997, in Green Bay, WI. Michal remained in Green Bay until July 23, 2006, when she was united in marriage to Keith Bilsland at St. James Francis Dechatel in Ashwaubenon, WI. The couple made their home in Sheldon, Iowa. Michal passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 86 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
Michal was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa, She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, gambling the “Green Bay Packers”, reading, and especially spending time with her family.
Michal leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Keith of Sheldon; her son, Thomas Fitzgerald (Kimberly) Montague, and her daughter, Colleen Jane Montague both of Green Bay, WI;2 stepsons, Mark and Matt Bilsland of Sheldon; 6 grandchildren, Danielle, Meghan, Bryce, Alysa, Keira, and Brenna; 3 great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Travis and Arlo; and a sister, Mary Jo (Kenneth) Zilish of Appleton, WI, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kelvin Montague; her parents, 2 sisters, Norah Jane “Nonie” Johnson; Patricia Pinegar, and a brother, Kenneth James Pinegar.
